Meet Brecht Senepart from Belgium

“After only one year on the job I was asked to help with the start up of a production line in China”

Brecht Senepart from Belgium

“An engineer from Atlas Copco made a presentation about the company and his work. He had graduated from the same university as mine and he clearly liked his job. After my graduation I submitted my CV and application letter to the Atlas Copco web site and only a few weeks later I was called for an interview. I have been working here since January 2006.”

Brecht Senepart is working as a Process Engineer at the Airtec Division of Atlas Copco Airpower in Belgium. He holds a Master degree in Engineering Science. Brecht describes his job as nicely balanced between “desk” job and “floor” job.

The diversity of the job is the most fun part!

“There is no typical work day and the diversity of the job is without any doubt the most fun part. As a Process Engineer you typically work in different projects. This can include everything from the development of new tools and machines, to supporting the teams if there are problems in the production. “

“I enjoy working for Atlas Copco because of the opportunities you are given, you can start your own projects and follow every step of it until the finish. You get responsibility even after working here for a relatively short time. After only one year at the job I was asked to help with the start up of a production line in Wuxi, China. There are only a few companies who can give an opportunity like that!”
